Is the LinkedIn analyser free?
Yes. No signup, no credit card. To keep costs sane there's a limit of 3 analyses per day per person, plus a total daily cap for everyone. If you want a human to go further, our career experts do paid 1:1 work.
Which version of my profile does it read?
The public, signed-out version: exactly what a recruiter sees before they connect with you, and what Google indexes. That is the view most first impressions are made on, and the one worth auditing.
Why doesn't it comment on my job titles or employers?
LinkedIn hides job titles and company names from signed-out visitors, so they aren't in the public view we read. The audit sticks to what a stranger can actually see and won't guess at the rest.
Do I need to give you my LinkedIn password?
No, and you never should. We only read your public profile page, the same way any visitor or search engine can. No login, no connection request, no browser extension.
My profile isn't public. Will this work?
No. If your public profile is switched off there's nothing for us (or a recruiter who hasn't connected) to read. Turn it on under Settings, Visibility, Edit public profile, then run the analysis.
Do you store my profile?
No. Your profile is read once to produce the feedback and isn't saved. We don't even store the URL you submitted, only a count and the role you targeted.
